Big night of jazzPopular jazz singer and drummer add gloss to Mackay concertPopular Sydney-based jazz singer and recording artist Kristin Berardi will join jazz drummer Paul Hudson, a renowned Brisbane-based performer and session recording artist, as featured artists for this year's first big night of jazz music in Mackay on Friday, May 23 (from 8pm). The Conversations in Improvisation concert hosted by the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music will also be a welcome back for Kristin, who studied at the Con in Mackay when she was a fledgling performer and has since performed at international jazz events and released CDs featuring her own compositions.
